A former Vice President and General Manager, Carrie comfortably serves as a presenter, host or keynote speaker. She’s also emceed events ranging from 50 to 5000 people.
As someone who is Hopelessly Addicted to the Miss America Program, Carrie speaks on a wide variety of topics helpful to pageant contestants including Interview, Platform Development, Fundraising, Social Media Skills and Personal Branding.

When considering speakers for an event for our local contestants, Carrie Lakey from Pageant Junkies, was one of our first choices. I had the opportunity to meet Carrie and do a podcast with her and knew she had a ton to offer our contestants. With the recent development of Pageant Junkies University, Carrie’s insanely awesome ability to promote the Miss America Organization, and her continuous work on the importance of branding, we knew she’d be a great choice.
We were so impressed with Carrie’s workshop as well has her willingness to step in and fill another workshop not originally intended for her. Carrie is flexible, terribly fun to work with, and was so appreciated by everyone in attendance. We can’t wait to have her back in Nebraska!
