Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2017

Today, we bring you this extra-special, non-scheduled blog post for a very special announcement…

It’s time for more Pageant Junkies predictions!

In case you missed it, the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen competition kicks off this week – with 51 lovely young ladies hoping to be crowned MAOTeen 2017!

Junkies started making predictions for Miss America’s Outstanding Teen just 2 years ago – but it’s quickly becoming something we greatly enjoy! Mainly because our Teen Titleholders are incredible individuals!

Also – in case you didn’t realize it, the MAOTeen program is extremely relevant to the Miss America Organization! There are SEVENTEEN former State Teens who are headed to Miss America this year – That’s right! ONE THIRD of this year’s contestants at Miss America, once held a state Teen title! If that’s not a strong enough reason to follow the MAOTeen program – I don’t know what is!?!

So – Given all this information, it’s going to be a fun ride through the end of this week! Here’s how it all works!

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we’ll post 4 states as the potential prelim winners for Talent and 4 states  as the potential prelim winners for Gown/OSQ – depending on which group is competing that night. That means there will be a total of 2 winners each night – and 6 winners total.

After the prelims, we’ll also be making a Top 10 list and a Top 5 list as well.

Now – in case you haven’t seen our predictions list before, we have one rule around here…

Predictions are supposed to be… Wait for it… Wait for it…

FUN!!!

This list is simply for pure pleasure and enjoyment! I’m not perfect – and I don’t have a bug in each of the judge’s brains – which means, I’m not going to get this 100% right.  I’m going to do my best – but if we don’t list your daughter/granddaughter/niece/sister/bff – it doesn’t mean she’s not smart enough, or not talented enough, or not pretty enough… It only means, I’m not perfect.

It’s my hope that each and every one of these young ladies performs at her VERY BEST this week – and that our new Miss America’s Outstanding Teen is a superb choice to represent the country! That’s why, after each and every prediction, we always say…

If we say your name, we hope you prove us right!
And if we don’t say your name, we hope you prove us wrong!!!
