Miss Oregon 2013 Allison Cook, has earned herself five concussions… Yes – FIVE! But she doesn’t let it get her down. And instead of a bunch of excuses, Allison has a wonderfully positive attitude and a strong head on her shoulders (concussions aside – ha!). Plus, she has some great advice for Junkies competing today – it’s all on today’s Pageant Junkies Podcast…
At 19, she won the title of Miss SC (on her first try!). A few years later, she won Miss SC USA (again, on her first try). And while it’s impressive that she finished as a semi-finalist in both organizations, it’s what she’s done SINCE her pageant days that has us SO EXCITED to share her story! The New York Philharmonic, The Lincoln Center, TV shows, Movies, CMT, dick clark productions, America’s Morning Show to name a few – Obviously, the girl has parlayed her pageant success into SO MUCH MORE! Enjoy!!!
As we look back on everything that’s happened this year at Pageant Junkies, it’s not an over-statement to say, I’m pretty flabbergasted…

At the beginning of 2015, I declared this would be the year that we would stop standing on the sidelines (offering thoughts and opinions), and instead – we would GET IN THE GAME by ADDING VALUE. Every one of our efforts above has been to that end – and the response we’ve received has been beyond our expectations…
Therefore, please know I say THANK YOU for making 2015 such an incredible year! I don’t think I could ever put into words how grateful I am for your involvement and influence this past year… Without you, Pageant Junkies would be nothing more than a teeny-tiny blog with my crazy commentaries (lol!). YOU have made this group special – and it will be my privilege to offer new things to the Junkie Nation in 2016 🙂
